Our History

The Resale Power Group of Iowa (RPGI) was formed in 1986 through an effort of IES Utilities and it's wholesale rate customers.

A consortium now consisting of over 25 public and private wholesale customers.

Objectives

The objective of RPGI is to render service relative to the solution of problems relating to rates and related items, of member utilities.

RPGI will continue to pursue lower rates through rate negotiations, efficient use of generation capacity credits and by being prepared to pursue any oppotunity that may arise in the ever changing climate of deregualtion.
